A Clincal Case Study of Lumbosacral Plexopathy Following Labour Heavy Burden and Drinking

Abstract

|
Objective: The purpose of this study is a 47-year-old man who developed a suddenly progressive lumbosacral plexopathy in the lower right extremity. In this case lumbosacral plexopathy followed labour heavy burden, drinking and sleep position.
Methods: Clinical Datas were analyzed by elctromyography, L-spine CT and digital infrared themographic Imaging system.
Results: Patient`s chief complain is foot drop, leg weakness, sensory change, and numbness in the lower right extremity. Most symptoms decresed and ROM(range of motion) of the lower right extremity incresed from poor to Good.
Conclusions: We experienced improvement of symptoms to this patient by electro-acupuncture stimulation, Infrared, moxa cautery, physicaltherpy, taping therapy, Herbal medication.
